A Vintage Wedding

We would like to share with you a recent 'vintage' themed wedding at Rhinefield House, Brockenhurst, New Forest

Simply Love Vintage were asked to assist and co-ordinate the wedding together with incorporate a few vintage touches to Sophie & Dan's stunning black tie wedding.

Our bride and groom chose Rhinefield for its wonderful character, its steeply pitched roof, redbrick chimneys and leaded windows, with the design being a blend of Tudor and Gothic, old and new, the romantic and the eccentric.

As Rhinefield is so rich in character and history, we didn’t need to add many vintage touches. However we created a gorgeous shabby chic table plan, which was incorporated into one of our vintage suitcases! Most guests were quite intrigued with this! We used chic French vintage bottles for table numbers (with the addition of a fabulous rose and tag) together with gorgeous floral teapots which were filled with a full blown mix of soft pink roses for tables in the pre-reception.

The bride looked stunning in a very classic dress (Charley by Maggie Sottero), with metres and metres of gorgeous tulle. Our bride wore a headband with an original vintage broach from 'Tantrums and Tiaras'. Her four flowergirls wore very soft peach dresses and white faux fur wraps from Monsoon. The maid of honour and adult bridesmaid wore off the shoulder black cocktail dresses which was in keeping with the black tie vintage theme.

Simply Love Vintage would just like to say a big thank you to a very special couple for choosing us to take part in their special day and we would also like to add our Congratulations again to them and wish them a very happy life together.
